Description

You will own backend development and server-side JavaScript within a retail e-commerce environment. You build performant, scalable features that meet technical specifications and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain third-party integrations and data feeds.
• Research and analyze existing systems, technologies, and retail industry trends.
• Participate in product team work estimation and maintain technical support documentation.
• Communicate status, questions, and technical issues proactively to the lead or manager.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and enterprise e-commerce platforms.
• Strong proficiency in server-side JavaScript and backend development principles.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript libraries including Node, Express, jQuery, AngularJS, React, or Vue.
• Experience consuming RESTful web services.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit test suites like Jtest.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies using Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Salesforce Composable Commerce, PWAs, or microservices-based architecture.
• Knowledge of database concepts including SQL and NoSQL.
