Description

• We are looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer with 5-7 years of overall experience, including 2-3 years of SFCC/SFRA experience.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building responsive, scalable, and accessible e-commerce experiences using SFCC/SFRA, ISML, controllers, server-side JavaScript, and APIs, along with exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and Node.js. Experience with frontend technology is preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive e-commerce storefront experiences on the SFCC platform.
• Develop and maintain features within a Salesforce Commerce Cloud / SFRA application.
• Build and modify ISML templates, client-side scripts and SFRA components.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into high-quality, pixel-accurate implementations.
• Work primarily on frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Contribute to backend development involving SFCC controllers, server-side JavaScript, services and APIs.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.
• Debug and resolve functional, performance and cross-browser issues.
• Ensure solutions meet accessibility, responsive design and performance standards.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
• Work closely with architects, developers, QA, product owners and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Analyse production issues and provide effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support estimation, technical design, and implementation of medium to complex features.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of overall software development experience.
• 2-3 years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud / SFRA experience.
• Good understanding of SFRA architecture, ISML templates, and SFCC development patterns.
• Strong hands-on experience in frontend web development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Good experience with jQuery and AJAX.
• Experience developing responsive, cross-browser-compatible web applications.
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
• Ability to understand and contribute to server-side/backend code when required.
• Good understanding of web performance, browser behavior, and debugging.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience working with Git and standard software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a development team.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and platforms quickly
