Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and development of Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions.

Design and implement scalable headless commerce solutions using PWA Kit and modern frontend technologies.

Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital commerce experiences.

Drive engineering best practices, code quality, performance optimization, and application scalability.

Lead integrations with enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and RESTful APIs.

Provide technical leadership for production support, incident management, deployments, and release planning.

Mentor and guide development teams across frontend and backend technologies.

Ensure platform security, reliability, maintainability, and operational excellence.

Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and digital commerce modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of software development experience.

4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).

Strong experience implementing and supporting SFCC using PWA Kit.

Expertise in headless commerce architecture, SCAPI, and OCAPI.

Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Experience integrating REST APIs, middleware, and third-party commerce platforms.

Solid understanding of commerce workflows including checkout, cart, pricing, promotions, and customer journeys.

Experience with AWS, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

Demonstrated technical leadership with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with microservices and API-first architectures.

Knowledge of payment gateway integrations.

Experience delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations.

Familiarity with Akamai CDN and edge delivery technologies.

Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, and FullStory.

Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and Optimizely.

Experience working within large enterprise digital commerce environments.
