Description

Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions, focusing on headless commerce and modern frontend technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable headless commerce solutions using PWA Kit and SCAPI/OCAPi.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, performance optimization, and application scalability.
• Lead integrations with enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and RESTful APIs.
• Provide technical leadership for production support, incident management, deployments, and release planning.
• Mentor development teams and collaborate with Product, UX, and DevOps stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Expertise in headless commerce architecture, SCAPI, and OCAPI.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, middleware, and third-party commerce platforms.
• Solid understanding of commerce workflows: checkout, cart, pricing, promotions, and customer journeys.
• Experience with AWS, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices and API-first architectures.
• Knowledge of payment gateway integrations and edge delivery technologies (Akamai CDN).
• Familiarity with observability tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and FullStory.
