Good to Have Skills: Experience with Calculated Insights development, Customer 360 Data Model, Data Graphs management, Segmentation strategies, Activation Targets configuration, Query API implementation, and Amazon S3 integrations. Knowledge of data governance, credit consumption optimization, and multi-regional data space configurations would be beneficial.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform data ingestion using native Connectors including Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, MCP, Inbound APIs, and Web/Mobile SDKs.
- Build and maintain complex Data Transforms using SQL and formula logic to clean, normalize, and harmonize raw data into the Customer 360 Data Model.
- Configure and optimize Identity Resolution Rulesets including Match and Reconciliation rules to create unified Golden Profiles across fragmented sources.
- Manage Data Graphs to pre-calculate and visualize multi-level object relationships for low-latency retrieval and optimal performance.
- Develop advanced Calculated Insights using SQL to generate real-time and batch-processed metrics like LTV, churn, and behavioral scores.
- Build complex Segments using a mix of profile, behavioral, and calculated data to identify high-value target audiences for marketing campaigns.
- Configure and manage Activations and Activation Targets to push unified data to Marketing Cloud, Personalization, Amazon S3, and external endpoints.
- Manage Data Space configurations to ensure proper data isolation, security, and governance across global regions and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and optimize Data Cloud Credit consumption through efficient query design and processing schedules to control operational costs.
- Integrate Data Cloud with Salesforce Flow and Apex to trigger automated, data-driven business processes and workflow automation.
- Design and deploy advanced analytics using the Tableau Direct Connection to visualize unified profile data and calculated insights.
- Build native Salesforce Reports and Dashboards specifically on Data Cloud objects to track ingestion health and segment performance.
- Configure Calculated Insights for external consumption via the Query API to power third-party reporting tools and custom visualization layers.
- Establish data validation frameworks and audit reports to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across the entire data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to map business requirements to technical metadata, ensuring end-to-end data lineage and integrity.
Experience Required: 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud development and expertise in related technologies.
Education: B.Tech/BE in relevant engineering discipline
