Description

You will lead the technical execution of complex data migrations into Salesforce, owning the strategy, automation, and pipeline architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business objectives to define data cleanup strategies and migration paths.
• Select, prepare, extract, and transform data from multiple sources to improve quality and reliability.
• Build and maintain data systems, pipelines, and algorithms using AWS services.
• Analyze raw data and develop datasets to support migration and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with data, integration, and technical architects to influence engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar technical role.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, PL/SQL, database design, and data models.
• Proficiency in Java and Python for building analytical tools and programs.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce object models and migration challenges.
• Experience leading large-scale migration efforts with clear data acquisition strategies.
• Ability to combine raw information from diverse sources into coherent datasets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Athena, Spark, EMR, S3, and IAM roles/policies.
• Proven track record in migration automation for Salesforce.
