Description

You will own the security posture, compliance, and hardening of the Salesforce platform for regulated utility environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve platform security by managing OWD, sharing rules, permission sets, profiles, field-level security, and session policies.
• Execute and own SDLC-integrated security checkpoints, including threat modeling, security design reviews, pre-deployment scans, and post-release audits.
• Lead implementations of Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, and platform encryption to secure regulated data.
• Drive the Enhancements & Hardening (E&H) backlog by remediating technical debt, cleaning up deprecated APIs, and tuning performance.
• Partner with Salesforce COE leads on NERC/utility-sector compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation documentation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Salesforce platform engineering with a security and governance focus.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Shield, Platform Encryption, Event Monitoring, and Health Check.
• Proficiency in CI/CD security gates using Copado, Gearset, and SFDX.
• Knowledge of OWASP and NIST compliance frameworks.
• Ability to use Agentic AI tools for automated security scanning, vulnerability triage, and remediation documentation.
• Experience maintaining AI-assisted platform health dashboards to surface risks and SLA breaches.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, or Security Specialist certification.
• Familiarity with utility/NERC compliance frameworks.
• Experience with AI-assisted code analysis and automated test generation.
