Description

You will design and implement event-driven architectures within Salesforce Service Cloud, bridging real-time data streaming between Service Cloud objects and Apache Kafka.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design real-time data streaming between Service Cloud (Cases, Contacts, Work Orders) and Kafka topics using event streaming patterns.
• Implement Salesforce Pub/Sub API (gRPC-based) or middleware like MuleSoft to bridge Kafka brokers with Salesforce.
• Write Apex triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows to publish or consume event messages inside Service Cloud.
• Configure Service Cloud core features including cases, entitlements, SLAs, Omni-Channel, and skill-based routing.
• Integrate external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, and implement CTI and third-party chat tools like AWS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Service Cloud configuration.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Flows, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and REST/Streaming APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Topics, Kafka Connect).
• Knowledge of gRPC and event streaming patterns.
• Experience with AWS for telephony and chat integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Platform Developer I / II certifications.
• Experience integrating Einstein Bots or Agentforce conversational tools.
