Description

Manage the deployment of Salesforce changes throughout the software development lifecycle to minimize disruptions and improve release efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Automate and implement improvements for Salesforce application release processes.
• Enforce CI/CD best practices and manage the change control process.
• Govern release lifecycle strategies, including version control, branching, and code merges.
• Manage production backups, sandbox refreshes, and the packaging of custom configurations and code.
• Monitor Salesforce org changes and execute rollbacks when necessary.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Proficiency with Git for source control management, including managing pull requests and merging code.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
• Ability to establish version control strategies for Salesforce metadata and source code.
• Experience defining and tracking DevOps Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Ability to work closely with developers and administrators to understand application architecture.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Copado DevOps Platform, Flosum, or Gearset.
• Experience setting up quality gates using Sonarqube or Codescan.
• Ability to understand Apex and JavaScript code.
