Description

You will design end-to-end order lifecycle solutions and lead the technical architecture for Salesforce Order Management implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design order ingestion, orchestration, routing, fulfillment, and return workflows.
• Lead configuration of Salesforce Lightning Order Management, including Order Summary, Fulfillment Orders, and Delivery Groups.
• Own the integration strategy between Salesforce and WMS, ERP, payment gateways, 3PLs, and last-mile carriers.
• Design API contracts, canonical data models, and event-driven flows using synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
• Govern metadata structure, environment strategy, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture workshops, and solutioning sessions with business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Salesforce experience with 3+ years specializing in Salesforce Order Management.
• Deep knowledge of Lightning Order Management data models and orchestration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Flows, and Platform Events.
• Proven expertise in integrating Salesforce with ERP, WMS, and payment processors.
• Strong architectural skills in API design, data modeling, and distributed system troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with SFDX, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience designing event-driven systems and handling idempotency and retry logic.
• Ability to produce clear architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Order Management, Application Architect, or Technical Architect certifications.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato.
• Background in Salesforce Commerce (B2C or B2B) or high-volume retail/CPG environments.
