Description

Lead Salesforce implementation projects from initiation through deployment and post-go-live support, managing scope, timeline, budget, and risk.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans covering scope, timeline, budget, resource allocation, and risk management for complex workstreams.
• Lead cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, documentation, and change request management to maximize contribution margins.
• Track progress, manage schedules, and implement risk mitigation strategies using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project team members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically focused on Salesforce implementations.
• Experience managing complex projects within the higher education industry.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its applications in higher education.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or Salesforce Admin/Sales/Service/Community Cloud Consultant.
• Experience with higher education student lifecycle, advancement, fundraising, or donor management.
• Knowledge of change management principles.
