Role Summary
seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to design and lead enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring Salesforce solutions are scalable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards—particularly within a utility/energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions including Energy & Utility Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrations with enterprise systems.
Define system architecture, data models, and integration strategies following Salesforce and enterprise best practices.
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with business analysts, project managers, and senior leadership to gather and refine requirements.
Translate business needs into clear technical designs and specifications.
Integration & Technical Leadership
Design and oversee integrations using APIs and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica).
Provide technical leadership and guidance on Apex, Lightning (LWC/Aura), Visualforce, and Flows.
Establish governance for development standards, release management, and environment strategy.
Governance, Security & Best Practices
Define Salesforce architecture standards, coding guidelines, and security policies.
Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
Recommend Salesforce products, applications, and third-party tools as needed.
Performance, Security & Scalability
Design and enforce role-based access control, sharing rules, and data security models.
Ensure compliance, reliability, and optimal system performance.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications.
Mentor developers, administrators, and junior architects.
Project Oversight
Support project planning, estimations, and risk management.
Participate across the full delivery lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong Salesforce expertise including Energy & Utility Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Flows, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Experience with integration patterns and middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica).
Data modeling, architecture governance, and Salesforce security best practices.
CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release management experience.
Experience Requirements
10+ years of Salesforce experience, including 3–5 years in Solution Architecture or Technical Leadership.
Proven experience delivering complex, integrated Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments.
Prior or recent utility or energy sector experience is required.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high-complexity initiatives.
