Salesforce Technical Architect

You will lead the design, build, and configuration of Salesforce solutions to meet complex business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design sessions and act as the primary project architect for new Salesforce technical requirements and implementation best practices.
• Design, develop, and support technology solutions, including the installation and configuration of third-party AppExchange apps.
• Define the system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and code solutions to specification.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance for integration strategies and large-scale technology initiatives.
• Execute all deployment steps required to implement application solutions and define appropriate testing strategies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in application development, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, and implementation.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce, Force.com, and the Salesforce declarative environment.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, and JavaScript.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to document application specifications and develop solutions that satisfy project requirements.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience evaluating vendor/partner software and integration strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Developer certifications.
• Experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs, including SOAP, REST, Bulk API, and Metadata API.
