You manage software asset lifecycles and maintain effective license positions using Flexera tooling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create effective license positions for Tier 1 publishers by uploading purchase orders, creating licenses, and performing software optimization.
• Onboard publishers from start to finish within FNMS.
• Generate detailed and summarized Excel reports and technical procedural documents.
• Manage FNMS device license consumption and validate out-of-date inventory.
• Identify and resolve issues proactively while managing multiple tasks under strict deadlines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software asset management.
• Expertise with Flexera products including FNMS, Workflow Manager, App Portal, and Data Platform 2.
• Thorough understanding of Tier 1 vendor license models: Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Symantec, VMware, Adobe, and RedHat.
• Ability to interpret software contracts and EUAs.
• Knowledge of Cloud and Virtualization technologies including AWS, OpenShift Platform, and RedHat/RHEL.
• Proficiency in SCCM and ADDM for software deployment and device inventory.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills for assimilating large datasets.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Atlassian JIRA workflows and ticketing.
• Experience with license server administration and enterprise security.
• Ability to build FNMS Cognos reports.
