Description

You will manage software asset data and tool infrastructure to ensure accurate license compliance and reporting.

Manage Snow Agent installations on Windows and UNIX servers, including tool upgrades and catalog updates. Troubleshoot agent inventory issues and data source connections. Validate data integrity from various sources and resolve discrepancies. Configure scheduled and CRON jobs, create signature recognition rules, and develop custom license metrics. Interpret complex software licensing agreements and assist with SAM audits.

Responsibilities

• Provision regular reports on installed software across all client, server, and host assets.
• Manage Snow Agent installations on Windows and UNIX servers, including tool upgrades and catalog updates.
• Troubleshoot agent inventory issues and data source connections.
• Validate data integrity from various sources and resolve discrepancies.
• Configure scheduled and CRON jobs, create signature recognition rules, and develop custom license metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software asset management or technical analysis.
• Working knowledge of Snow Software.
• Proficiency with SQL databases and query writing.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle database infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and UNIX server environments.
• Understanding of scripting and XML.
• Ability to import device data and prepare entitlement and deployment reports.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Foundation certification.
