Description

You will develop instructional programs and materials for the State Accounting Office (SAO) that align with organizational goals and learner needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and audience analyses to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
• Design and develop 508-compliant instructional materials including storyboards, video scripts, job aids, and course outlines.
• Create interactive eLearning courses, microlearning modules, and SCORM-compliant webinars using authoring tools.
• Develop and administer assessments, such as simulations and quizzes, to measure learner progress and analyze effectiveness data.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with organizational requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Instructional Design, Education, or Training and Development.
• Proficiency with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
• Experience developing SCORM-compliant courses and working within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong knowledge of 508-compliance requirements for accessible learning materials.
• Expertise in instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to manage project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using project management tools.
• Experience creating various formats including instructor-led training, video, and printable job aids.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
