Description

You will design and develop instructional programs and materials for the State Accounting Office to meet organizational goals and learner needs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and audience analyses to identify performance gaps and learning objectives.
• Design and develop 508-compliant instructional materials, including storyboards, video scripts, job aids, and course outlines.
• Create interactive eLearning courses, microlearning modules, and SCORM-compliant webinars.
• Develop and administer assessments such as quizzes, simulations, and practical exercises to measure learner progress.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with objectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Instructional Design, Education, or Training and Development.
• Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
• Experience developing SCORM-compliant courses and working within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong knowledge of 508-compliance requirements for accessible learning materials.
• Deep understanding of instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM.
• Expertise in creating various formats including instructor-led training, video, and printable job aids.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to analyze assessment data to drive improvements in learning outcomes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
