Description

You will design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions, including programs, RFCs, BAPIs, function modules, and classes, tailored to business processes. You will create SAP OData models and services using the SAP Gateway Service Builder to facilitate API consumption. You will coordinate with onsite and offshore functional teams to formalize technical expertise for new business requirements and suggest value additions to the existing landscape. You will debug and troubleshoot issues, complete technical specifications, and execute the full testing lifecycle from unit test through UAT and regression. You will manage integrations to and from SAP systems and stay current with SAP technologies to improve development processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP ABAP programs, RFCs, BAPIs, FMs, and classes.
• Create SAP OData models and services using SAP Gateway Service Builder.
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and execute testing from unit through UAT.
• Manage integrations and maintain technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of SAP development experience.
• Minimum 3 full SAP Implementation project life cycles.
• Extensive ABAP and ABAP on HANA development skills.
• Experience with Data Dictionary, Enhancements (BADIs, Exits), Function Modules (BAPIs, RFC), EDI, IDOCS.
• Strong OO Programming, Rest APIs, SAP Gateway, OData, and CDS/Annotations.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience managing integrations to and from SAP systems.

• Ability to work independently in both support and project roles.
• Willingness to learn new technologies on the job.
