Description

You will own the end-to-end development lifecycle for SAP ABAP applications, from analysis and coding to unit testing and release management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and estimate development timelines for ABAP objects.
• Develop and maintain ABAP applications including BADI, BAPI, User Exits, Enhancements, BDC, Function Modules, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, RFCs, ALV Grids, Module Pools, Screen Developments, and WebDynpro objects.
• Execute unit testing and manage the release of objects to the testing environment.
• Conduct performance testing, SQL tracing, dump analysis, and debugging to ensure code quality.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).
• Expert-level SQL knowledge and query optimization skills.
• Experience with unit testing and release management processes.
• Proven ability to debug complex issues and analyze dumps.
• Familiarity with performance tuning techniques including SQL tracing.
