Description

You will design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP applications on a contract basis, working 5:30 PM – 1:00 AM IST to overlap with EST stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP S/4HANA solutions, including migrations and custom implementations.
• Build RESTful applications using the RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) and expose OData services.
• Design and integrate solutions on SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Optimize data models and improve performance using SAP HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure code quality across RICEF objects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong proficiency in RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
• Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) integration.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration processes.
• Proficiency in SAP HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, and performance tuning.
• Experience building and consuming OData services and API integrations.
• Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 development.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, contract environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with functional consultants and global distributed teams.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
