Description

You will lead production support, S/4HANA upgrades, and Esker AP automation projects for the Bridgewater, NJ office.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot critical production issues in SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.
• Own the Esker AP Automation project, managing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and coordinating development across SAP platforms.
• Drive SAP upgrade initiatives by executing custom code remediation, replacing obsolete ECC objects, and adapting programs for S/4HANA.
• Develop and optimize modern ABAP solutions using CDS Views, AMDP, and SQLScript, ensuring performance via ST05 and SAT analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with deep expertise in S/4HANA and ECC.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) and modern Open SQL (inline declarations, aggregations, joins, code pushdown).
• Hands-on experience developing CDS Views (Basic, Interface, Consumption) and managing CDS Annotations and Associations.
• Experience with ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) and SQLScript for complex database-side logic.
• Solid understanding of SAP integration technologies including IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData Services, and Web Services.
• Proficiency in performance tuning using ST05, SAT, and SQL Monitor.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Upgrade & Transformation, including PRIME+ analysis and ATC remediation.
• Background in stabilizing and optimizing existing SAP landscapes.
