Description

You will design and implement applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using managed and unmanaged RAP scenarios.
• Create and extend Core Data Services (CDS) views using annotations and metadata extensions.
• Build backend logic via OOABAP and optimize performance on SAP HANA.
• Expose OData v2/v4 services for frontend consumption.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform peer code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Expertise in ABAP RAP (managed and unmanaged scenarios).
• Strong proficiency in OOABAP and modern ABAP techniques.
• Deep knowledge of CDS views, annotations, and SAP HANA artifacts including AMDP.
• Hands-on experience with OData v2/v4 services.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP BTP.
• SAP certifications in ABAP, RAP, or HANA.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
