Description

Manage end-to-end SAP development across implementation, support, and upgrade projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on RICEF development including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Estimate development efforts and enforce coding standards throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead technical teams and oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during development and support phases.
• Support R&D and Proof of Concept initiatives to drive technical innovation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Expertise in RICEF development methodologies.
• Proficiency in OO ABAP and Object-Oriented methodologies.
• Strong experience with BAPI, BDC, flat-file handling, and EDI-IDocs.
• Deep knowledge of classical, interactive, and ALV reports.
• Hands-on experience with enhancements including BADIs, user exits, and enhancement spots.
• Competency in Data Dictionary and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of SDLC processes and process flow visualization.
• Proven ability to manage SAP project lifecycles including implementation and upgrades.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to advanced ABAP areas such as Webdynpro and Workflow.
