Description

Manage SAP Basis operations and production support across cloud and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute SAP Basis operations, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and start/stop procedures.
  • Perform HANA database administration, covering installation, revision patch upgrades, and stack upgrades.
  • Administer HANA security, backup, and recovery for single-tenant and multi-tenant environments.
  • Manage SAP transports, client administration, system copies, and printer configurations.
  • Implement HANA High Availability (HSR) setups and manage scale-up/scale-out scenarios.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis and production support.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration on Cloud and On-Premise.
  • Proficiency with HANA tools: HANA Studio, HLM, HDMLCM, and HANA Cockpit.
  • Experience using SUM/DMO tools for upgrades and migrations.
  • Knowledge of HANA single DB, multi-tenant, and high isolation installation scenarios.
  • Experience integrating ECC with HANA using SLT Replication.
  • Competency in Oracle, SQL, and DB2 databases, including memory management and backup/restore.
  • Experience with HANA troubleshooting, sizing, NSE, and Data Temperature.
  • Knowledge of SUS/RHEL clusters for HANA databases.
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with BOBI, BODS, and Fiori.
  • Experience using SAP Solution Manager.
