Description

Lead the design and configuration of SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC) within S/4HANA environments. This role owns the end-to-end setup, customization, and deployment of AFC solutions across large-scale landscapes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform AFC customization in S/4 back-end systems, including parameter types, register programs, variables, and business transaction types.
• Define task models, task list models, and task dependencies to support complex financial closing processes.
• Collaborate with S/4 Finance teams to set up Account Balance Validations and integrate them as task models.
• Execute the setup of Global Task List Templates and Global Task Lists for up to 140 company codes and 1,000 tasks.
• Manage transport management for all AFC configurations and oversee OSS/system incidents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP environments.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC).
• Deep understanding of S/4HANA and SAP ECC architectures.
• Proven experience with SAP Financials modules.
• Ability to manage integration with S/4 communication systems.
• Experience managing large-scale task list deployments across multiple company codes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
