You will manage material availability and supplier coordination to meet facility production plans.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules, shipping, and material requirements to ensure production continuity.
- Analyze parts schedules and production requirements to requisition materials, regulate inventory levels, and issue work orders.
- Execute engineering change implementations and manage the depletion of existing stock during new product introductions.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality and supplier performance issues.
- Collaborate with supply chain planning resources to address demand variability and support Sales and Operations Planning.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain or related functions.
- Proficiency with SAP and SAP BW.
- Strong Supply Chain Management expertise.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Proven ability in analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage supplier scheduling and engineering change implementations.
Preferred Skills
- APICS, CPIM, or CSPC National Certification.
- Knowledge of 6 Sigma project management principles.
