Description

You will manage material availability and supplier coordination to meet facility production plans.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules, shipping, and material requirements to ensure production continuity.
  • Analyze parts schedules and production requirements to requisition materials, regulate inventory levels, and issue work orders.
  • Execute engineering change implementations and manage the depletion of existing stock during new product introductions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality and supplier performance issues.
  • Collaborate with supply chain planning resources to address demand variability and support Sales and Operations Planning.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or related functions.
  • Proficiency with SAP and SAP BW.
  • Strong Supply Chain Management expertise.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Proven ability in analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage supplier scheduling and engineering change implementations.

Preferred Skills

  • APICS, CPIM, or CSPC National Certification.
  • Knowledge of 6 Sigma project management principles.
