Description

You will manage and maintain SAP ABAP and Java systems within UNIX and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and monitor SAP ABAP and Java systems.
• Perform SAP system copies and maintain basis configuration and procedure documentation.
• Manage SAP transport management configuration and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with OS, DBA, and development teams to resolve technical problems.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including weekend coverage and after-hours tasks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of SAP Basis experience.
• Extensive experience with SAP application BOBJ 4.x.
• Experience with SAP PO 7.x or other SAP Java-based applications.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting SAP application integration with DB2 LUW or HANA.
• Strong knowledge of SAP transport management.
• Experience working in UNIX or Linux environments.
• Ability to work independently and provide status updates on large-scale tasks.
• Engineering degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP ChaRM for transport management.
• Familiarity with ECC 6.xx, BW 7.x, Portal 7.x, GRC 10.x+, Netweaver Gateway 7.x, or Solution Manager 7.x.
