Description

You will manage and maintain SAP ECC systems within an AMS environment to ensure stability, performance, and availability.

Manage SAP ECC system health, including user administration, authorization management, and regular maintenance tasks like system refreshes and kernel upgrades.

Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and perform tuning to optimize ECC landscapes.

Resolve technical incidents within defined SLAs and collaborate with the AMS team on service, change, and problem management.

Implement backup and recovery strategies and execute regular disaster recovery drills.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP ECC system health, including user administration, authorization management, and regular maintenance tasks like system refreshes and kernel upgrades.
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and perform tuning to optimize ECC landscapes.
• Resolve technical incidents within defined SLAs and collaborate with the AMS team on service, change, and problem management.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies and execute regular disaster recovery drills.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, installations, and patch management activities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration within an AMS or support environment.
• SAP certification in SAP Basis Administration.
• Proficiency in SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Deep understanding of SAP ECC architecture and components.
• Experience with SAP security and authorization concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience managing Oracle and MSSQL databases.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and working in ITIL-aligned environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing SAP landscapes in on-premise environments.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring.
