Description

You will lead SAP S/4HANA RISE migration, upgrade activities, and core Basis administration for the Sydney team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA RISE migration and upgrade activities, including performing migrations with SAP ECS.
• Manage core SAP Basis administration, including software installation, setup, enhancement packs, support packs, and upgrades.
• Design SAP infrastructure covering server, storage, high availability, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Execute system refreshes and client copies to support the SAP landscape strategy.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot complex technical issues and resource utilization trends.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS/Security Administration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and engaging with SAP on RISE.
• Proficiency with S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI, ERP, and Solution Manager.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver 7.4 and exposure to SAP HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP R/3 4.7, ECC 607, BW 7.0, and Solution Manager 7.1.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation including specifications, logical system designs, and test scripts.
• Familiarity with business analysis methodologies such as User Stories, Use Cases, Requirements Gathering, UAT, and Agile or Waterfall.
• Experience summarizing complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Collaboration with database administrators in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments.
• Experience working with networking and security teams.
• Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation and assistance with change control and incident response.
