Description

You will lead SAP Basis operations and cloud migration initiatives for the Austin, TX team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute SAP migration to Microsoft Azure, including Data Services and BusinessObjects integration.
• Manage operational excellence for SAP Basis, Solution Manager, Monitoring, Portal, and DB2 databases.
• Develop Unix-Shell scripts and handle infrastructure elements to support system stability.
• Drive Major Incident Management, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SAP functional best practices.
• Conduct system health audits, patching planning, and weekly operational reviews with the support partner.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and technical delivery.
• Proven expertise in SAP Cloud migration to Microsoft Azure.
• Strong proficiency with SAP HANA, SAP SLT, and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ).
• Experience with SAP Celonis and SAP Business Transformation Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Unix-Shell scripting and DB2 database management.
• Familiarity with cloud integration scenarios (API, Gateway, SSL) and authentication methods (SAML, OAUTH).
• Ability to perform error trend analysis, problem management, and SAP OSS note assessments.
• Must be located in Austin, TX, or nearby, with willingness to work 2-3 days/week in the office.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing technical feasibility assessments for incident resolutions.
• Background in managing gaps in technical and operational expertise within large enterprise environments.
