Description

You will manage, administer, and optimize SAP BASIS environments, covering support, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer SAP BASIS activities including patching, kernel upgrades, and system performance tuning.
• Manage system refresh, change management, and incident resolution processes.
• Oversee SAP Solution Manager installation, configuration, and administration (EWA, satellite systems, technical monitoring).
• Handle monitoring issues and manage ticket resolution for incidents and service requests.
• Coordinate offshore tasks and manage handoffs with onsite teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Expertise in SAP Netweaver Java administration.
• Proficiency in HANA Administration, including alert setup, parameter tuning, and DB backup/recovery.
• Experience with SAP products: ECC, BW on HANA, Solution Manager, SLT, Gateway, FIORI, CRM, Enterprise Portal, Web dispatcher, PI/PO, BOBJ.
• Strong skills in SAP and database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows 2008/2012 and SUSE/Redhat Linux administration.
• Knowledge of SQL and Oracle database administration.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with S/4 HANA conversion and migration support.
