Description

Lead SAP Basis administration for complex system landscapes, ensuring system integrity and performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP administration on UNIX and Windows, including system copies, kernel upgrades, and client copies.
• Execute database administration for Oracle and MS SQL, handling upgrades, maintenance, and backup/restore/DR strategies.
• Oversee TMS administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of transport errors.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and problem analysis to maintain system stability.
• Lead implementation, migration, and upgrade projects, including post-implementation support and OSS Note applications.

Required Skills

• 7-11 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Hands-on experience with ECC, CRM, SRM, and BW.
• Proficiency with Oracle 9i/10g and MS SQL database installations and upgrades.
• Experience managing SAP on AIX, HP-UX, Linux, and Windows.
• Strong knowledge of R/3 Basis and Netweaver ABAP Stack.
• Experience with HANA installation and administration.
• Knowledge of Single-Sign On and Web Dispatcher.
• Ability to work in shifts and travel onsite as required.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Java stack, BI/XI, Enterprise Portal, or Trex Administration.
• ITIL certification or strong understanding of service standard processes.
