Description

You will lead data migration and transformation efforts from SAP BW on HANA to SAP BW/4HANA, ensuring minimal downtime and high data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models, composite providers, ADSOs, and transformations aligned with the BW/4HANA architecture.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes using SAP BODS for SCM, Logistics, and Manufacturing data domains.
• Collaborate with functional teams (MM, PP, SD, APO, IBP) to define data requirements and business logic.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning on data flows and reports.
• Support integration with S/4HANA, ECC, and external systems via BODS or middleware.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SAP BW, including 3+ years specifically on SAP BW/4HANA.
• 5+ years developing ETL processes using SAP BODS with a focus on data quality and performance optimization.
• Proven expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics data models (MM, SD, PP, APO, IBP).
• Strong knowledge of BW modeling techniques including ADSO, CompositeProvider, InfoObjects, and transformations.
• Hands-on experience executing migrations from BW on HANA to BW/4HANA.
• Solid knowledge of data extraction from SAP and non-SAP sources using ODP, CDS Views, and BODS.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA SQL scripting and data provisioning.
• Understanding of S/4HANA data structures and their impact on BW/4HANA.
• Experience with Git and Jenkins.
