Description

You will own the design, development, and administration of the SAP BusinessObjects platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and support Web Intelligence reports, including multi-source queries, formulas, variables, and data merges.
• Design and maintain SAP BO Universes using Information Design Tool (IDT), ensuring semantic layers are optimized for performance and ad-hoc querying.
• Develop Xcelsius dashboards and integrate Live Office for report scheduling, bursting, and distribution.
• Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions and manage platform administration via CMC, including user roles, security, and scheduling services.
• Perform performance tuning on reports and universes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with the SAP BusinessObjects platform.
• Strong proficiency in Web Intelligence (WebI) report development.
• Hands-on experience with Information Design Tool (IDT) for universe design and data modeling.
• Deep understanding of SQL and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with Xcelsius dashboards and Live Office report management.
• Ability to perform performance tuning on reports and universes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-source queries and complex data merges.
• Background in translating business requirements into technical BI solutions.
