Description

You will design and implement extensions and data models within the SAP BTP ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Develop extensions using RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP) across managed, unmanaged, and drafting scenarios.
• Build side-by-side extensions using Custom Entity Models and ABAP CDS Exits.
• Perform data modeling and development on HANA DB and execute in-app extensions for S/4HANA using custom field logic.
• Optimize code, queries, and system performance.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on implementation experience with SAP RESTful ABAP Development and HANA DB.
• Expertise in ABAP and Entity Manipulation Language (EML).
• Strong proficiency in CDS, Object Model Annotations, UI Annotations, and Metadata Extensions.
• Experience with API Management and SAP API Business Hub.
• Understanding of BTP organizational structures, MTA, multi-tenant concepts, and SaaS/PaaS.
• Knowledge of Communication Scenarios, Communication Management, and Application Authentication/Authorization.
• Proficiency using Business Application Studio and Eclipse ADT.
