Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of cloud‑native applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Design and implement side‑by‑side extensions on SAP BTP to support business innovation while maintaining a Clean Core.
• Develop high‑quality services, data models, and APIs aligned with modern development standards and SAP best practices.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support integration activities (approx. 20%) including:
• SAP Integration Suite
• Event Mesh
• API Management
• Connectivity services
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and code reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to cloud‑native principles.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
• Stay current on SAP BTP innovations, CAP enhancements, and emerging cloud development practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on development experience with SAP BTP and CAP.
• Strong proficiency in:
• Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• CAP CDS modeling
• OData services
• Experience building cloud‑native applications using modern development frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of:
• SAP BTP services (XSUAA, Destination, Workflow, Event Mesh, etc.)
• Integration Suite and API‑based integrations
• Ability to independently analyze business requirements, functional specs, and technical designs.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, development‑focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with S/4HANA Clean Core strategies and extension methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event‑driven design.
• Prior experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical workstreams.
