Description

You design and develop cloud-based extensions and customizations on SAP BTP to build scalable, secure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build applications using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with JavaScript.
• Integrate SAP BTP services with SAP systems (EWM, S/4HANA, HANA Cloud, CPI) and non-SAP systems.
• Implement interfaces using REST, SOAP, and OData protocols.
• Manage fault handling, logging, and synchronous/asynchronous processes.
• Debug and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills

• 4-10 years of SAP BTP development experience.
• Proficiency with SAP Integration Suite and Extension Suite (Cloud Foundry).
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud DB, SAP Build App, and SAP Build Code.
• Hands-on SQL Script, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and function calls.
• Working knowledge of RDBMS and No-SQL databases.
• Strong understanding of Web Services standards (REST, SOAP, WSDL).
• Experience with SAP BTP role management and Cloud Connector setup.
• Knowledge of CI/CD services for HANA Cloud.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and SAP Work Zone.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API-first and event-driven architecture.
