Description

You will design, develop, and deliver scalable, cloud-native applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), owning the full stack from backend services to user interfaces.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native backend services using SAP CAP (Java/Node.js) and expose APIs via OData v4 and REST.
• Build responsive UI applications using SAPUI5 (Freestyle) and Fiori Elements, configuring the experience layer with SAP Build Work Zone.
• Configure and deploy applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry using MTA, CF CLI, and App Router.
• Implement data models using CDS and manage persistence in SAP HANA Cloud (HDI containers, SQL).
• Establish CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab, ensuring code quality through automated testing and DevOps practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in SAP Portal, Process Integration, or Process Orchestration, with 3+ years specifically in SAP BTP.
• Hands-on experience with SAP CAP (Java or Node.js) and SAPUI5.
• Proficiency in SAP HANA Cloud, including data modeling, SQL, and HDI containers.
• Experience deploying to SAP BTP Cloud Foundry environment.
• Knowledge of OData v4, REST API development, and source control systems like GitLab.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and basic authentication/authorization concepts (OAuth, JWT).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI), Event Mesh, SAP Build Process Automation (BPA), and ABAP RAP.
• Knowledge of XSUAA, OAuth2/OIDC flows, and microservices architecture on SAP BTP.
