Description

You will design and implement reusable test automation frameworks for SAP BTP, owning the full testing lifecycle from planning to defect tracking.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable BTP test automation frameworks and approaches.
• Develop, execute, and maintain BTP test plans, cases, and automation scripts using Java.
• Analyze testing requirements, optimize scripts for rapid releases, and track defects using logging and monitoring tools.
• Report testing status, refine test strategy, and act as SME for BTP services troubleshooting.
• Mentor team members on BTP test automation technologies and QA best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in test automation with strong Java programming skills.
• Hands-on experience testing and automating on SAP BTP.
• 5+ years with test management systems and cloud platform testing (3+ years).
• Strong understanding of QA principles, organization, and communication.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developing BTP services/extensions.
• Experience using Playwright with Java.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, ServiceNow, and LLMs/agents in development workflows.
