Description

Design, configure, test, and deploy custom integration components across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Transform business requirements into technical specifications, code, and debugged programs.
  • Develop custom interfaces using SAP CPI palette tools and various mapping techniques.
  • Manage end-to-end integration scenarios including design, testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and monitor progress to manage project risks.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain updates through applicable review cycles.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of IT experience specializing in SAP to SAP and SAP to non-SAP integrations.
  • Expertise in SAP CPI for cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise integrations.
  • Proficiency with SAP API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, and Integration Advisor.
  • Hands-on experience with Java scripts, Groovy scripts, XSLT, and graphical mapping.
  • Technical knowledge of ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST, and Microsoft Dynamics adapters.
  • Experience with SAP BTP components including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Cloud Foundry (CAPM/Kyma/RAP), and Mobile Services.
  • Practical understanding of Cloud Identity Services (IAS and IPS), Fiori Launchpad, Work Zone, and Business Rule Services.
  • Competency in handling security artifacts, encryption, and decryption mechanisms.
  • Experience with Multi-Target Application development, Destination setup, and HANA deployments.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of SAP BTP cockpit, BTP Services, and Discovery Centre.
  • Conceptual understanding of Kyma runtime, serverless functions, and containerized microservices.
  • Experience working within an Agile environment.
