Description

You will administer and automate SAP BusinessObjects 4.x/BI 2024 environments, focusing on SDK development and CI/CD integration. You own the lifecycle of Universes, report deployment, and system security through code-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java and Python SDK solutions using SAP BO Java SDK and REST Web Services to automate administration.
• Programmatic manage Universes (IDT/UDT) and BO artifacts, ensuring semantic layer consistency and metadata governance.
• Refactor legacy SDK scripts and custom tools for improved performance, error handling, and modern best practices.
• Integrate SAP BO processes with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks for controlled deployment and rollback.
• Automate report lifecycle management, publication, scheduling, and user/group security through script-driven orchestration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SAP BusinessObjects 4.x or BI 2024.
• Strong hands-on programming skills in Java and Python for automation and system integration.
• Deep expertise in Universe Design Tool (UDT) and Information Design Tool (IDT).
• Proven experience with SAP BO Java SDK and RESTful Web Services SDK.
• Experience with Central Management Console (CMC) administration and security management.
• Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for BI asset deployment.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and automated testing frameworks.
