Description

You will design and lead the architecture for SAP BW solutions integrating with Google BigQuery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design the overall SAP BW architecture, covering LSALSA concepts, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Lead the migration and replication of SAP BW data to Google BigQuery using SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP SLT.
• Develop scalable and secure data integration architectures between on-prem SAP systems and GCP.
• Lead end-to-end data pipeline design between SAP BW and GCP, implementing ETL/ELT using SAP and GCP services.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BW, BW on HANA, and BW4HANA.
• Strong expertise in SAP BW data modeling, data extraction, and performance tuning.
• Experience integrating SAP BW with the Google BigQuery GCP analytics stack.
• Proficiency with SAP data extraction technologies: ODP, ODQ, SAP Extractors, BAPI, and Function Module-based extraction.
• Strong understanding of cloud data engineering tools, including BigQuery, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Data Fusion/Dataflow.
• Strong SQL skills, preferably BigQuery SQL.
• Experience designing enterprise data warehouse and analytics architectures.
• Knowledge of data modeling methodologies (star schema, LSA, semantic layers).
