Description

Design and build scalable backend services and Fiori frontends on SAP Business Technology Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Java or Node.js.
• Build SAP Fiori/UI5 applications consuming CAP-based OData or REST services.
• Implement service logic, validations, and integrations following cloud-native and domain-driven design principles.
• Ensure application scalability, security, and performance on SAP BTP runtimes.
• Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams across the full SDLC, including CI/CD and MTA-based deployments.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience in full-stack SAP cloud application development.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Strong backend development skills in Java or Node.js, including REST API design.
• Proficient in SAPUI5 development, including MVC concepts (controllers, views, fragments) and custom controls.
• Experience deploying on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry or Neo with Git-based source control.
• Understanding of SAP security concepts, including OAuth and role-based access control.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
