Description

Own the technical delivery, upgrade strategy, and integration architecture for SAP Commerce Cloud solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Commerce Cloud upgrade projects, managing code adaptation, platform and dependency upgrades, Solr updates, and JDK compatibility.
• Architect and implement headless commerce solutions using OCC APIs, ensuring robust data modeling with item types, services, facades, and converters.
• Design and maintain complex integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP BTP/CPI, handling inbound/outbound data flows for products, pricing, and orders via REST, SOAP, and OData.
• Implement and troubleshoot Solr search configurations, indexing strategies, and faceted search capabilities.
• Manage CCV2 infrastructure, cloud deployments, build/deploy pipelines, and provide production support with root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (2211 or later).
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and JDK 21.
• Deep understanding of SAP Commerce data modeling, business processes, cronjobs, and interceptors.
• Experience with SAP BTP/CPI integrations, Integration Objects, and OData services.
• Proficiency with REST, SOAP, OData, JSON, and XML integration patterns.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations, including tokenization and processing flows.
• Strong debugging skills and experience with production support and log analysis.
• Good understanding of B2B commerce concepts, including account hierarchies and approval flows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating SAP Commerce Cloud with AEM as the frontend platform.
• Familiarity with identity providers like Ping Identity or PingFederate for SSO.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Kibana, or Splunk.
