Description

You will maintain and support the SAP BusinessObjects platform infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and security for BI 4x and higher environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the SAP BusinessObjects platform, including servers, services, and nodes within the Central Management Console (CMC).
• Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations of BO components across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot server logs, and optimize report delivery to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Manage user accounts, roles, and security settings, including LDAP/AD integration and SSO configuration.
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and execute 24/7 L2 support tasks.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of working experience in IT infrastructure or system administration.
• Proven experience administering the SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) platform.
• Strong understanding of CMC, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and UDTI.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Tomcat, WebSphere, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting server logs, report failures, and system errors.
• Experience with LDAP/AD integration and Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes or ServiceNow Control.
• Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 L2 support model.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sap Basis Core Bo and Sap Systems administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
