Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop CI-DS data flows for integration between S/4HANA and IBP
- Build and manage batch and real-time interfaces (master + transactional data)
- Configure and optimize OData services, extractors, and APIs from S/4
- Implement IBP data integration scenarios:
- Master data (Product, Location, Customer, Source of Supply)
- Transactional data (Stock, Sales Orders, Planned Orders)
- Work with IBP key figures and planning areas to align inbound data structures
- Handle delta mechanisms, filtering, and data transformation logic
- Monitor and troubleshoot CI-DS jobs, including performance tuning
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and error handling frameworks
- Support cutover and data load strategy for IBP deployments
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services
- Hands-on integration experience between:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Experienced in building the Data Flows, Task , Process and making sure the integration run end to end
Deep understanding of:
- IBP data model (Planning Areas, Key Figures, Attributes)
- S/4 data structures (MATDOC, MARA, VBAP, etc.)
- Integration & Technical
Experience with:
- SAP CIDS (must have)
- OData (especially S/4 APIs)
- SAP IBP- Data Integration Jobs ( Communication Agreement , Communication Systems)
- SLT / extractors (nice to have)
- CPI / Integration Suite (nice to have for hybrid scenarios)
- Strong SQL and data transformation skills
- Experience in delta handling, large data volumes, and performance optimization
Supply Chain Planning concepts:
- Demand Planning
- Inventory Optimization
- Supply Planning
- Typical CI-DS Use Cases in IBP Programs
- Initial and delta load of Product / Location master data
- Real-time or near-real-time stock integration (critical for order-based planning)
- Integration of sales orders and forecasts
- Periodic load of planned orders back to S/4
Good to Have:
- Experience with IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP)
- Knowledge of IBP OData V4 APIs and batching
- Exposure to SAP Integration Suite (for event/API-based patterns)
- Understanding of Clean Core principles in S/4 programs
