Description

You will own hands-on performance testing across all project phases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute load, stress, soak, spike, and scalability tests.
• Define and track key performance metrics including latency, throughput, error rates, and concurrency.
• Manage automated performance runs, dashboards, and reporting within Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Conduct root cause analysis, telemetry review, and debug bottlenecks across application, service, and DB layers.
• Prepare and manage test data while identifying environment gaps and technical dependencies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on performance testing experience.
• Strong proficiency with JMeter (test plans, correlation, parameterization, assertions, Groovy/Beanshell scripting, distributed load execution).
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines, reporting, and work item tracking.
• Proficiency with Git for branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Strong experience with Application Insights (metrics, logs, dependency tracking, KQL queries).
• Working knowledge of Azure components: App Service, APIM, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB, autoscaling, and networking.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON payload structures, and authentication using Postman.
• Familiarity with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Azure Monitor.
