Description

You will improve transaction data collection and profitability analysis by addressing functional shortcomings in an existing SAP ECC 6 implementation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP Finance and Controlling solutions by reviewing business requirements and coordinating with project schedules.
• Customize FI/CO functionalities to align with organizational needs and industry best practices.
• Optimize financial processes and reporting by developing reports within CO-PA and PCA.
• Execute testing plans to ensure the integrity of SAP Finance and Controlling solutions.
• Train end-users on module functionalities to drive organizational adoption.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of SAP FI/CO experience.
• Expertise in SAP FI module functionalities including AR, AP, GL, and sub-ledgers.
• Deep knowledge of General Ledger, EBS, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Intercompany settlement.
• Technical proficiency in Cost Element Accounting, CO-PA (cost-based and account-based), CO-PC, and Profit Center Accounting.
• Experience in business process mapping and documentation.
• Ability to configure and customize SAP FI/CO within a best practices framework.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP BW, Analyzer, and SAP Concur Integration.
• Exposure to AP Automation and Archiving/Data Retention tools.
• Familiarity with ALE and IDOC functionalities within CPG or Alcoholic Beverage industries.
