Description

Own the configuration, integration, and support of SAP FICO modules with a primary focus on tax implementation using OneSource.

Responsibilities

• Configure tax procedures, tax codes, and settings in SAP FICO to ensure accurate calculation and compliance.
• Integrate SAP with external tax engines, specifically Vertex and OneSource, including necessary configurations and testing.
• Manage and support core FICO modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting.
• Align FICO and tax solutions with end-to-end business processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Conduct unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to resolve issues related to financial and tax postings.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience in SAP FICO configuration and support.
• Deep expertise in SAP FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting.
• Proven experience with tax engines, specifically Vertex, OneSource, Avalara, or Sovos.
• In-depth knowledge of tax processes including GST, TDS, and international taxes.
• Proficiency in SAP configuration and writing functional specifications.
• Strong understanding of business processes such as P2P and O2C.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is beneficial.
• Ability to support statutory audits and manage tax reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing end-user training and creating technical documentation.
