Description

You will lead a team on a multi-year payments modernization journey, building scalable and compliant payment capabilities within SAP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test complex technical solutions to integrate SAP with other lines of business like P&C and Life.
• Lead end-to-end technology integration, including solution design, infrastructure design, data flow, and system performance.
• Direct troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions to resolve complex application and production issues.
• Mentor engineers through code and design reviews to ensure quality standards and accurate planning.
• Identify and manage technical risks and system performance bottlenecks to optimize solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience with deep technical understanding of SAP products.
• 5+ years of development experience with SAP Insurance modules, specifically SAP FS-CD, FS-CM, FS-ICM, or SAP BP.
• Expertise in SAP FS-CD processes including Master Data, Payment Plans, Billing, Incoming/Outgoing Payments, and Electronic Bank Statements.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP technical skills for all RICEFW objects and providing solution design/estimations.
• Experience developing SAPUI5/Fiori applications using SAP Web IDE, Business Application Studio, HANA Studio, and Eclipse.
• Hands-on experience with S4-HANA Cloud, SAP REST API, ODATA Services, BAPI Services, and Java API.
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, distributed systems (Microservices, event-driven, SaaS, SOA), and Object-Oriented Design.
• 4+ years of experience delivering solutions through the full software development lifecycle, including leading design reviews.
• Working knowledge of one or more: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, or SQL.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience acting as a Techno-Functional consultant.
• Demonstrated expertise in security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.
